Musafia offers five alternative opportunities for those seeking quality on a budget: 1 - REFURBISHED PRE-OWNED CASES: Pre-owned cases are generally trade-ins. These cases are fully reconditioned as much as possible, and have a new case cover and hardware unless otherwise mentioned. Refurbished pre-owned cases have the same lifetime warranty as any new Musafia case (except if indicated differently). Up to 75% discount from normal prices. 2 - DEMO CASES: New cases that have been at trade fairs, displayed in the Musafia showroom or at retailers' showrooms. They have never been "used", and often are indistinguishable from a "completely new" case, although they can no longer be sold as "new". They have the same lifetime warranty as any new Musafia case (unless indicated differently). Up to 40% discount from normal prices. 3 - BLEMISHED: "Errare umanum est." Occasionally a case will not come out 100% aesthetically perfect. Sometimes a new worker leaves a glue spot somewhere. A wrinkle may be visible on a flat surface or perhaps a piece of velvet gets frayed on an edge. Instead of dismantling these cases (thus representing a cost), they are offered for sale at a discount. These cases have the same lifetime warranty as any new Musafia case (unless indicated differently). Up to 50% discount from normal prices. 4 - PROTOTYPES, TEST CASES, and EXERCISES OF STYLE: Musafia research is always active in the quest to make better products. For this reason, otherwise stock cases with new features which may or may not go into production become available. Other cases are tested for a variety of properties, or are prototypes of new models soon to appear. Still others are "exercises of style", cases in which Mr. Musafia uses all of his creativity to try new aesthetic effects. These cases are offered on the market, after a thorough inspection and whatever reconditioning may be necessary. There may be slight imperfections in the finish. These cases have the same lifetime warranty as any new Musafia case (unless indicated differently). Up to 50% discount from normal prices. 5 - CLOSEOUTS: New cases that for one reason or another have never been put on the market, and which now differentiate from those currently being offered new. They have never been "used", and in general are indistinguishable from a "completely new" case. They have the same lifetime warraty as any new Musafia case (unless indicated differently).
